The PADI Advanced Snorkeler course (often titled the PADI Skin Diver course) is designed for snorkelers who want to venture beneath the surface for closer encounters with marine life through breath-hold dives. While snorkeling is primarily surface-level, this course teaches the “skin diving” techniques needed to dive deeper and stay down longer. The Advanced Snorkeler Course focuses on mastering surface dives, equipment comfort, and safe marine interaction to improve your underwater experience.

The course focuses on practical skills and basic dive science to make your underwater visits more effortless and safe. 

• Surface Dives: Mastering the “duck dive” or “head-first surface dive” to descend efficiently.
• Finning Techniques: Learning advanced kicking styles for better propulsion and maneuvering.
• Snorkel Clearing: Practicing methods to clear water from your snorkel upon surfacing without taking it out of your mouth.
• Safety & Environment: Managing buoyancy, identifying potential hazards like currents, and practicing responsible marine interactions.
